  13. Just installed a new Sportster V34+, 33.6 Kbps internal modem. 
  14. I followed the "Express Setup" instructions and ran the "comtest.exe"
  15. utility which recommended to set the modem for "COM3, IRQ5" The modem
  16. working fine with Procom & Trunpet WINSOCK but I can't get it to
  17. work with MCI Mail Express, I changed the port seting to COM3 but
  18. get no response. MCI Mail express does not have a way to change the
  19. IRQ seting for the COM port. I suspect the problem is that I used IRQ5.
  20. I think COM3 is usually IRQ4 and maybe MCI Mail Express fixed at IRQ4
  21. for COM3. Am I asking for trouble by using COM3 and IRQ5? What can I
  22. do with software which has a COM3 port selection but no provision to 
  23. change IRQ from 4 to 5. Should I change the modem to use COM3/IRQ4.
